Artist's Comments
I love Sam he is my all time favorite from the Lord of the Rings (both the books and the movies) You might know who Sam is, but you may not know Bill the pony. So for everyone who dosen't know Bill the Pony listen up! If you've only seen the movies, there is this one small part right before they enter Moria where Aragorn says "The mines are no place for a pony sam" and sam hugs Bill goodbye and says "bye bye Bill". Well in the books Tolkien talks a bit more about how Sam has a close friendship with the pony and cries when It is time to leave him behind... and of course i was reading this at school and had to cry along with Sam
 (not to mention all the other things in the book that make my eyes water  ) SOOOOOO anyways they are great characters.  ----- So lets talk more about art. It isn't that great. I can't draw horses. This was my fist time ever drawing a horse (that I can remember) And the parts where I was shading (never finished that) turned out blue-ish after I scanned. I think thats it... We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
